John Jewell was the first (and at this stage) and only child of John Jewell and Jennipher Moyle, and was baptised on the 18th March 1781, in the Parish of Wendron.

On the 8th of November 1805, John married Mary Johns also in the Parish of Wendorn. At this stage I have not established when or where Mary was born/baptised, or who her parents were. I do however know that John and Mary had 5 children, all showing as being baptised in the Parish of Wendron. They were;

John Jewell	- baptised 2nd February 1806
Mary Jewell	- baptised 10th April 1808
John Jewell	- baptised 8th April 1812
Betsy Jewell	- baptised 2nd January 1815
Grace Jewell	- baptised 9th September 1817

At the time of writing this I have not been able to determine whether any of the above children married, or had any children, or what became of them.
