Susannah Jewell was the third child of Absolam Jewell and Catherine Davies, and was baptised on the 9th November 1752, in the Parish of Wendron.

According to the I.G.I, Sussanah married William Jenkin (son of Nicholas and Elizabeth Jenkin) on the 27th December 1786, in the Parish of Wendron. A further search of the I.G.I., has revealed that they (or should I say Sussanah!) had a total of 8 children.
