John Pollard was the first child of Joane Jewell and John Pollard, and was baptised on the 27th August 1666, in the Parish of Poughill

A search of the I.G.I., has found discovered that John married Joane Collings on the 2nd April 1689 in Kilkhampton. A subsequent search of the I.G.I., has discovered that John and Joane had 6 children. In fact the I.G.I., has records of both baptisimal and birth dates. The deatils are as follows;
