According to the I.G.I., William Pollard was born on 24th January 1689, and baptised a year later, on 24th January 1690. William was the first child of John Pollard and Joane Collings.

A further search of the I.G.I., has discovered that William married Ann Grig sometime in 1723, in the Parish of Kilkhampton. Unfortunately I don't know the exact date at this stage. I do however know that Ann was born abut 1693, in Kilkhampton as well. According to the I.G.I., her parents were not listed.

I was also able to discover that William and Ann had 3 children, all showing as being born in the Parish of Kilkhampton. They were;

William Pollard	- born 20th May 1724
Joan Pollard	- born 7th July 1725
John Pollard	- born 9th July 1726

At this stage I have not been able to determine whether any of the above children married, whether they had children of their own, or what became of them.
