William Caddy was the first child of Elizabeth Jewell and Richard Caddy, and was baptised on the 14th April 1800, in the Parish of Wendron.
According to the I.G.I., William married Grace Hocking on the 5th May 1822, in the Parish of Saint Austell, Cornwall. Grace was the daughter of Richard and Ann Hocking and was baptised on the 13th May 1802, in Redruth, Cornwall.
I was also able to discover that William and Grace had 7 children, all baptised in the Parish of Wendron, except Caroline and William Henry, who were baptised in the Parish of Saint Austell. Their children were;
| Grace Caddy | - baptised 23rd July 1823 |
| William Caddy | - baptised 30th August 1823 |
| Caroline Caddy | - baptised 6th June 1824 |
| William Caddy | - baptised 1st April 1825 |
| Ann Caddy | - baptised 19th November 1826 |
| William Henry Caddy | - baptised 24th December 1826 |
| James Caddy | - baptised 14th January 1836 |
At this stage I have not determined if any of the above children married, had children of their own, or what became of them. If anyone has anymore information about any of the above, or you feel you may be a descendant of theirs, please contact me at bruce@jewell.asn.au.
